Shipping policy

We are happy to offer free shipping in the United States and Canada for a limited time.

Fire Habitat wants to ensure you receive your items as quickly and safely as possible. As soon as you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us that your order has been received and a pre-authorization has been completed on your credit card.

Once stock has been confirmed, we will process the payment and ship your order within 3-5 business days. You will receive tracking information once your order has been shipped.

If your item is backordered or not available, we will reach out to you via email or phone to discuss options and next steps.

We offer standard ground shipping for most of Canada. There could be additional shipping charges for the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other parts of the country that are remote. We will contact you directly if additional charges will apply. Most purchases are shipped within 3-5 business days. Based on your location, you can usually expect your package to arrive within 10 business days of when you placed your order.

Our Carriers:
We ship all of our products using Fedex Ground for smaller items (usually under 60 lbs). These shipments are delivered to your door without a signature required.

Any larger items are delivered via a freight carrier like YRC Freight, Day & Ross, etc. These shipments are delivered curbside, which will require a signature. Please ensure you inspect the package to make sure there is no damage in the packaging. If there is, please write "CONTENTS DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt, then sign. This allows us to resolve this issue in a timely manner. If there is damage, you must notify us within 24 hours.

Depending on how close you are to a warehouse, your items should arrive within 10 business days. Most of the time it is a lot faster than 10 days.

Receiving Your Shipment
We are committed to making sure you are satisfied with our products. Your order is inspected prior to shipment to ensure all items are in excellent condition before they leave the warehouses. Although our products are packaged securely to prevent any damage it’s possible that in rare cases, damages may occur during shipment. 

Before signing for the shipment inspect the package. The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that when you sign for the delivery you are legally accepting the product as delivered in good condition. Therefore, it is extremely important that you inspect the product prior to signing the delivery receipt. If there is damage to the carton or the product, please write "CONTENTS DAMAGED" clearly on the delivery receipt that the driver is asking you to sign, then sign. This insures that your damage issue will be easily resolved
